BWD Consulting was established in early 2017 by its founder and current General Manager David Byrne. The “BWD” stands for Big Wave Dave and is a throwback laugh to David catching small waves while body surfing. In life some things stick and the BWD seemed a natural fit.
From the start BWD Consulting was developed differently. As part of our ethos we did not want to develop extensive glossy presentation packs, instead focusing on delivering outcomes for our clients. Keeping it simple and developing practical solutions that are fit for purpose was and continues to be our strength. Our Procurement and Contract Management expertise is market leading and continues to be the core skill of our professional consulting firm.
As we have grown over the years our business consulting team has expanded to assist organisations from the private, Government and the not-for-profit sectors through critical periods of transformation, growth and change. In doing so our prime focus continues to be delivering outcomes that are fit for purpose.
In addition, we have a podcast series “Procurement Talk with David Byrne”. Currently we have published over 92 episodes, 40,000 downloads and is available on 37 different podcast channels reaching 57 countries and continues to sit at Number 1 for procurement podcasts.
