BWD Consulting is a Brisbane-based company established in early 2017 by its founder and General Manager David Byrne. It has grown to become a leading procurement and probity consulting company with expertise in assisting businesses to achieve operational efficiencies, savings and effective risk management.

From the start, BWD Consulting was developed differently. As part of our ethos we focus on delivering positive outcomes for our clients, keeping it simple and developing practical solutions that are fit-for-purpose. Our market has been to service large complex organisations of which many operate in highly regulated environments and are geographically dispersed. 

BWD Consulting adopts a proven methodology that has been used and refined over many years to deliver our procurement and probity advisory services. We have developed a practical and consistent process which provides certainty to our clients as their trusted advisor. Our team are focused on client service and satisfaction, and we will go the extra mile to provide an exceptional service to our clients.

In addition, we have a podcast series “Procurement Talk with David Byrne”. Currently we have published over 120 episodes, 40,000 downloads and is available on 37 different podcast channels reaching 57 countries and continues to sit in the top 10 for procurement podcasts.

PS: If you're wondering where the BWD comes from - “BWD” stands for Big Wave Dave and is a throwback laugh to David catching small waves while body surfing. In life some things stick and the BWD seemed a natural fit.
